Solution for Health and Pharmacies
Sell restricted products
with compliance in every channel.
Pharmacies and health platforms that sell controlled medicines and age-restricted products need technical verification, not just instructions to counter staff. CPFHub.io checks the buyer's CPF (Brazil's individual taxpayer ID) in real time, in any channel.
The cost of inaction
Without verification, the digital channel is the gap.

Industry challenges
Why training counter staff
is not enough.
Controlled medicines sold with no check on the buyer
Anxiolytics, stimulants and other controlled drugs are sold on health e-commerce sites with no age check at all. The digital channel opens a gap that in-person sales do not have.
Counter staff with no standard verification process
In chains with hundreds of stores, document checks depend on each attendant's training and attention. At peak hours, that step is the first to be skipped.
Omnichannel with no central access control
Platforms running an app, a website and physical stores have different policies per channel. Without central verification, the weakest channel exposes the whole chain to regulatory liability.
How CPFHub.io solves it
Every challenge has a direct answer.
Problem
A minor buys a controlled medicine through the app or website
Solution
The CPF is checked at checkout, before the order is approved. If the buyer is under 18, the purchase is blocked automatically, with the reason and the lookup timestamp recorded.
Problem
Counter staff skip the ID check at peak hours
Solution
With verification built into the point of sale, the system does not release the product without confirmation of legal age. Responsibility moves from the individual to the process, which is auditable and consistent.
Problem
ANVISA notifies the chain of an irregular sale to a minor
Solution
Every lookup writes a log with CPF, channel, result and timestamp. In an inspection or notification, the chain presents the history as evidence that the technical control was in operation.
Legal compliance
The regulation you need.
The infrastructure that delivers.
Ban on selling restricted products to minors
Art. 81 forbids selling to people under 18 medicines without a medical prescription, products that can cause dependence and other age-restricted health items. The responsibility covers the digital channel.
Control of controlled-medicine sales
RDC 586/2021 regulates the dispensing of medicines under special control, requiring traceability and control at the point of sale, including digital platforms and licensed online pharmacies.
Compliance in processing the CPF
Age verification through the CPF has its legal basis in Legitimate Interest (Art. 7, IX). CPFHub.io provides a declared legal basis, data minimization and a documented retention policy for ANPD audits.
CPFHub.io provides auditable records of every check performed, ready to present in inspections by ANVISA, PROCON (consumer protection agency) and the State Public Prosecutor's Office.
With hundreds of stores and our own app, we had no way to guarantee that age checks were being done in every channel. CPFHub.io centralized the control and took that responsibility off the attendant.
