Solution for Delivery
Age verification
at the order, not at the door.
Delivery apps selling alcohol and restricted products must verify the buyer's age before the order is prepared. CPFHub.io solves it at checkout, using the CPF (Brazil's individual taxpayer ID), without relying on the courier.
The cost of inaction
The risk does not end at delivery.
3x
was the growth in alcohol sales through delivery apps in Brazil between 2019 and 2023, increasing the volume of orders subject to age verification.

Joint

Revocation
of the operating permit of partner establishments and legal action against the platform in repeat cases of alcohol delivered to minors.

Industry challenges
Why checking at delivery
does not solve the problem.
Checking at the door is inconsistent and causes conflict
Leaving the ID check to the courier creates uneven experiences, conflicts with the customer and operational failures. At peak demand, verification is the first step to be skipped.
City rules on hours and channels
Dozens of Brazilian cities have their own rules on alcohol delivery, including time restrictions and buyer identification requirements. The platform is liable for non-compliance.
Partner restaurants and stores without a standard process
On platforms with many establishments, each partner pays a different level of attention to age control. Without centralized verification, compliance cannot be guaranteed.
How CPFHub.io solves it
Every challenge has a direct answer.
Problem
A minor orders alcohol through the app
Solution
The CPF is verified at the time of the order, before preparation and dispatch. If the buyer is under 18, the order is canceled automatically, with no delivery cost and no conflict at the door.
Problem
The courier cannot check the ID at the door
Solution
With verification done in the app, the courier does not have to be the last barrier. Operations keep flowing and the platform's liability is covered before the order leaves.
Problem
A fined partner drags the platform into the case
Solution
Centralized verification on the platform records every lookup with timestamp and result, documenting that due diligence existed regardless of the partner establishment.
Legal compliance
The regulation you need.
The infrastructure that delivers.
Ban on sale and delivery to minors
Article 81 prohibits selling alcoholic beverages and other restricted products to minors. Delivery through an app does not remove liability: the digital channel is treated as a point of sale. The ECA is Brazil's Child and Adolescent Statute.
Restrictions on alcohol sales
Prohibits selling alcoholic beverages to anyone under 18. State and city rules add further requirements, especially for night-time delivery.
Compliance when processing the CPF
Age verification by CPF has its legal basis in Legitimate Interest (Art. 7, item IX). CPFHub.io provides a stated legal basis, data minimization and an auditable retention policy. LGPD is Brazil's data protection law.
CPFHub.io provides auditable records of each verification performed, useful as evidence of due diligence in inspections by health surveillance, PROCON (the consumer protection agency) and the Public Prosecutor's Office.
We used to depend on the courier checking the ID at the door. It was inconsistent and caused conflict. With verification at the order, the problem disappeared before reaching the street.
